Anne Schack, M.D.

Dr. Schack is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received her M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Psychiatry and Neurology at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. Dr. Schack has a wide breadth of experience in the medical field. She did an internship in medicine and surgery, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center. Undergraduate work was done at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Schack has over 20 years experience in medicine. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Schack was the Medical Director for a psychiatric hospital in Hawaii. She also was Assistant Chief of the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California and she co-developed the Department of Integrated Chronic Pain Medicine for them.

Since treating tens of thousands of patients over the years, Dr. Schack offers a broad-scope practice with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of psychiatric disorders, including all mood disorders/depression and bipolar illnesses; all anxiety disorders – obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc; ADHD, ADD in both child and adult; all brain chemical imbalances and many brain illnesses. She is highly experienced in the treatment of various chronic pain conditions including fibromyalgia.

Dr. Schack’s primary emphasis is treating her patients in a very kind and compassionate manner, understanding their individuality, and getting to know all of their needs. She utilizes all methods of diagnosis including the latest technologies of Referenced Electroencephalograms (REEGs), neurotransmitter testing along with the standard methods of diagnosis. She is well known for her medication management (psychopharmacology) treatment for all diagnoses, which also includes the highly complex cases and chronic pain issues. Additionally, she has extensive expertise in all modalities of psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral.

Dr. Anne Schack has done additional training to treat hormonal imbalances. Richard Dorsey, M.D., M.B.A.

Dr. Richard Dorsey is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, a Diplomate in Administrative Psychiatry, a Qualified Medical Evaluator, (QME), and an Independent Medical Examiner, (IME). He has served on over 25 task forces, committees, commissions, and advisory panels for the American Psychiatric Association, state medical associations, American Medical Association, hospitals across the country and pharmaceutical companies. He has lectured extensively and has written numerous papers and articles for publication.

For over 30 years, Dr. Dorsey has been a foremost expert and scientist in the field of psychiatry. Following his education at West Virginia University, the University of Cincinnati, the Medical College of Virginia and the University of Cincinnati Hospitals, Dr. Dorsey served our country as Chief of Aero Medical Services and the Director of Hospital Services for the United States Air Force.

His civilian professional experience is legion. He has been the Chief of Staff for several psychiatric hospitals, the Medical Director of a number of hospitals and the Medical Director of Mental Health Departments for the County of Orange and the County of Riverside in California.
